Content Structuring.

How to Structure Content of your Blog Post

  • Blog post writing is an art as well as it is a science so content must be effective and impressive.
  • Getting a blog can be a great way to connect and share your knowledge with your audience. It's also a way of establishing yourself as an expert in a given area.
  • There are literally millions of blogs that are published daily though. How does that make you stand out? How do you insure that you have exactly what your customer is searching for so they can remain on your platform and not go anywhere else?
  • When I started blogging for the first time I had no idea what I was doing. And tell the truth, sometimes I'm still not sure I'm doing it. Yet one thing that I have found is that structure is very important in a blog post. Creating blogs is much more like writing essays than writing fictions.

Don’t believe me but clear some points in your mind.

  • Have a clear introduction
  • Use headings
  • Keep paragraphs short
  • Write in plain English
  • Use compelling imagery
  • Have a conclusion
  • Have some sort of call/Message to action at the end

Have a clear introduction(स्पष्ट परिचय हो)

  • Every blog post should have a clear introduction that maps out what your blog post is about. Some writers also include an anecdote or explain why they’re an authority on the topic.
  • Several writers often provide an anecdote or describe why they are an authority on the subject.
  • It's a perfect way to draw the reader in and convince them why they should follow your advice, rather than someone else.
  • It's something that I'm horrible to do too — my mind just goes blank! I'm planning on working on them this year, so I'd love to hear them in the comments if you have any ideas.

Use headings(शीर्षकों का उपयोग करें)

  • In 2017 the average duration of attention is just eight seconds. Which means that most people will not have the span of time to read your post, no matter how much work you put into it.
  • You must show how do you get their attention.
  • Headings allow users to skim your post and return to the points that are of greatest interest to them. They should be adequate to whet your appetite, nothing more. The longer you find the headings, the easier it is for readers to skim.

Keep paragraphs short(पैराग्राफ छोटा होना चाहिए )

  • The shorter the paragraphs are, the quicker they're read to skim.
  • This is one of the key ways to differentiate blog writing, essay writing, and all you're taught in Creative Writing class.
  • Blog writing isn't about making paragraphs as long as they need to be, it's about breaking them up in appropriate ways so your readers can easily digest your message.

Write in plain English(साधारण अंग्रेजी में लिखें)

  • Blog posts must in simple way not in short.
  • The longer the sentences are, the more complex, the easier it is for your readers to hold their focus.
  • Keep it simple. Always.

Use compelling imagery(आकर्षक कल्पना का प्रयोग करें)

  • Using imagery thoughts that ties in with your points will helps to keep your audience’s attention. Nice pictures always catch somebody's eye as they scroll through and give them a reason to pause.
  • However, all images used in your post should relate to the contents of your post.

Have a conclusion(एक निष्कर्ष अवश्य होना चाहिए)

  • At the end, tie things up with a conclusion that sums up your points, as you would in an essay.

Have some sort of call to action at the end

  • Blogging is all very good and good, but why do you do it? What do you want your readers to do for the information in exchange? Login to mailing list? Leave a reply? Share this post?

In short we can plan it as following.

Section 1 – Planning a Blog Post
  • Things bloggers should do before putting pen to paper – outlining, research etc.
Section 2 – Writing a Blog Post
  • Tips on how to focus on writing, productivity tips for bloggers
Section 3 – Rewriting/Editing a Blog Post
  • Self-editing techniques, things to watch out for, common blogging mistakes
Section 4 – Optimizing a Blog Post
  • How to optimize a blog post for on-page SEO, social shares/engagement, etc.
Section 5 – Conclusion

Conclusion

Step 1: Plan your blog post by choosing a subject, creating a diagram, conducting research and reviewing information.
Step 2: Creates a headline that is both insightful and catches the attentions of readers.
Step 3: Write your post, either write a draft in one session or write on parts of it slowly.
Step 4: Using photos to enhance your article, improve its flow, add humor and explain complex subjects.
Step 5: Edit your post on your blog. Be sure to avoid repetition, read your post aloud to test the flow, have someone else read it and give feedback, keep short sentences and paragraphs, don't be a perfectionist, don't be afraid to cut out text or change your last minute writing.
